Week 8 : CAD developments, Simulations and Final report draft

This week the Project Megaclimb team considered making a design addition to help the wheelchair go down staircases.

The team designed a guiding mechanism to help the wheelchair go downstairs, making sure the front end of the wheelchair does not have to drop down suddenly to reach the first step. This guiding mechanism requires an additional motor so that it can rotate to fit back underneath the wheelchair when not in use.

Furthermore simulations were completed this week, with the following animation being created

Draft one for the final report was also competed this week, which includes an updated budget and timeline with a section specifically assigned to discuss the results of the nine week project.
